ICE has planned a power outage for Sámara & surrounding communities. They will shut off the power at 7am on Thursday April 25 and restore power no later than 5pm. The water pumps are run by electricity. Once power is lost/restored, the water service should follow approx. 30 minutes after.

Quick Tips to prepare for the Power/Water Outage:
Grab cash from ATM, Credit Card machines need power and internet.
Fill up water reserves for flushing toilets and hand washing, etc
Freeze items that may not make it the day without refrigeration
Fill a cooler with ice and anything you need for the day...this will reduce the opening of the fridge
